Custom Zen Cart Design for Ecigs Unlimited

Ecigs Unlimited features a heavily customized zen cart. Done in an earthy palette of rich browns to light caramel. The design puts the main navigation as a pull down menu in the header. The home page features an ad for their “Beginner Kit”, space for a welcome message, and a right hand navigation with sections for FAQ’s and Info, Specials, Guarantee & Policies, Refills/Liquid, and News. There are also links to twitter and facebook.

Each Category page was coded with a large main product ad at the top with a mini-menu for sub categories to the the right with a testimonial underneath. Below this all of the products in the category show in two neat columns with product name, a brief description, product image, price, and a link to more info if the product has other options, or add to cart.

The Product info page was heavily modified to a three column layout with product image on the right, product name, price, description, and options in the second column, and add to cart box in the third column. Showing under the product are the cross sell products “Customers who bought this product also purchased…”.

Additional functionality was added to the zen cart with thes modules: cross sell, package tracker, database backup, column layout grid, easy populate, uri mapping, custom group pricing with minimum order amount, dual pricing.
