“Welcome everyone!! I have been buying and selling on Ebay since 1999 just for my own personal use…but I have caught the selling bug and have now opened an Ebay store…Babbling Brook’s Boutique. My store name is kind of an inside joke because I like talking to people and my husband said years ago that my parents should have named me Brook – then he could call me Babbling Brook! Corny? Yes – but the talking part is true and I thought it would make a great store name! The buying and selling process is so addicting!! I am constantly putting in new inventory – so please check back often!

My store offers an eclectic mix of new and gently used children and adult clothing, household items, craft supplies and of course the ever famous “miscellaneous” category! I am always going through the house looking for something to sell on Ebay! Everyone laughs at me but once you start…you are hooked!

I work outside the home full time as an accountant. I have been married for 25 years and have one son that is 22 and in college. I am very busy with social activites, Ebaying and hobbies I have including scrapbooking, reading and cooking.

Dottie of Doma designs describes her Ebay store:

“When I learned I had cancer in 2000, my loving Mother rose to the occasion ~ as she always did in a crisis ~ and did her best to make the experience less painful for me. Before losing my hair to chemotherapy we searched for alternative headwear but were not satisfied with the products found in most stores because they did not offer full coverage for total hair loss. I purchased a wig but it was so uncomfortable for me that I never wore it.

My mother went to the drawing board determined to create something that would work for me. She designed several hats and then adjusted and refined the designs until they covered all the right places and felt securely in place. It was important to me that I could wear a hat without fear of it falling off or slipping out of place. Comfort was my main concern ~ but Mom wanted me to feel pretty so she added in the style and elegance.

When so many other women experiencing hair loss began asking where they could find headwear like mine, we decided there was a need for us to share Mom’s designs with others. Doma Designs has been a family effort started out of love and a passion to help others.”

Dottie wanted a store design in her signature shades of blue. Done is subtle floral patterns, the design helps showcase her beautiful products. The Ebay storefront package included: auction template, about me page, store header, and store landing page (product listing style).
