Beautiful, easy to navigate custom zen cart web design for Dream Catchers Scrapping. I based this boutique design on the scrap kit “Be Unique” by scrapbooking designer Nancy Mulder. Nancy wanted an ecommerce web site that would showcase her scrapbooking kids, embellishments, and papers. The main background is a blue slightly textured paper. The top and bottom of the zen cart template are curved. The header features a cute yellow bird with a swirly tail and a pretty dot line from the kit done in shades of green, yellow, and brown. Header navigation contains links for home, log in, log out, shopping cart, and checkout.
The left hand navigation of this custom zen cart template features custom sidebox header images for shop, search, new items, newsletter signup, and information. Each sidebox header image is slightly different composed of different elements from the scrapbook it. Other zen cart sideboxes used in the left hand navigation are currencies, and who’s online.
The home page of this custom zen cart design features on hover image changes for all of the main images. The main image is set for a featured full scrap kit, with buttons to the right for new items, on sale, news, and about me. Under this is the welcome text and a new items section that features a custom center box heading image.
The custom zen cart template footer section features the same dot line as the header with a pretty green swirly flower. The rest of the footer has a custom Twitter follow me link with the site copyright information.
Zen cart modules installed for added funtionality include, cross sell, newsletter subscribe, column layout grid, database backup, about us page, uri mapping.
This full custom zen cart design also includes custom buttons and icons, custom favicon, custom product info layout, product listing layout, and shopping cart pages layouts. All products were set up as downloadable files. Custom add this button was added to the product info page to make sharing on any social media easy.

Custom Zen Cart Design for Ecigs Unlimited

Ecigs Unlimited features a heavily customized zen cart. Done in an earthy palette of rich browns to light caramel. The design puts the main navigation as a pull down menu in the header. The home page features an ad for their “Beginner Kit”, space for a welcome message, and a right hand navigation with sections for FAQ’s and Info, Specials, Guarantee & Policies, Refills/Liquid, and News. There are also links to twitter and facebook.
Each Category page was coded with a large main product ad at the top with a mini-menu for sub categories to the the right with a testimonial underneath. Below this all of the products in the category show in two neat columns with product name, a brief description, product image, price, and a link to more info if the product has other options, or add to cart.
The Product info page was heavily modified to a three column layout with product image on the right, product name, price, description, and options in the second column, and add to cart box in the third column. Showing under the product are the cross sell products “Customers who bought this product also purchased…”.
Additional functionality was added to the zen cart with thes modules: cross sell, package tracker, database backup, column layout grid, easy populate, uri mapping, custom group pricing with minimum order amount, dual pricing.
Custom Zen Cart Design for Macabi Skirt

Take a look at this fully customized Zen Cart site I completed for http://www.macabiskirt.com. Macabi Skirt is the premier retailers of travel skirts. I wanted their design to reflect the adventurous spirit of their customers. The design is done in all neutral tones with bold dark blue elements. The main background for the site is a beautiful old map done in subtle earth tone. The top header features a background based on a piece of old paper. The header navigation features links to login and view shopping cart with the number of items and total cost. Once an item is added to the cart the checkout button appears. The main navigation consists of a drop down menu with links to shop, how it works, our story, macabi blog, testimonials, and contact us. There is another navigation along the bottom of the page with links to other information. The footer has neatly placed credit card logos, and ssl security seal, as well as site copyright information.
The main section of the home page design has a background done with an old piece of paper with subtle floral brush decorations. There is the main ad showing how the Macabi skirt can convert from long skirt to pants, to shorts, an add for the Macabi for men skirt, and an ad for the Macabit Convertible Jacket. Under these ads are three navigation buttons for Macabi for Men, In the Field, and In the News. All ads on the home page feature a subtle on hover image change.
All pages in the site were customized including product listing, product info, shopping cart, information pages, etc. Add on modules that I installed for added functionality include links manager, package tracker, database backup, column layout grid, testimonials manager, uri mapping, stock by attributes, split panel login, improved attributes controller, and image handler 2.

The Pampered Baby Boutique is a beautiful, bold design for your baby products store. The main background of the template is righ brown with gold dots. The header logo will be customized with your store name and slogan. It features a tan and light gold striped background with a beautiful upscale baby carriage and a clear, clean font. The left hand navigation has a darker gold solid background and custom sidebox header images. There is also a custom space for your newsletter sign up or other promotion and a custom newsletter icon. The Lingerie Boutique is a pretty, elegant design done in a neutral palette of black, tan, and white. This neutral color palette will showcase your products. The main background is a grey on black floral flourish design. The header logo will be customized with your store name and slogan. It features a photograph of a model with a tan and white striped background and black floral flourishes. The home, log in, shopping cart, and checkout links and the search box and button hover above the top of the header logo. Below the header logo is a solid black horizontal navigation bar that can have any links that you like. The left hand navigation has a subtle tan and white striped background and custom sidebox header images. Also in the left hand navigation there is a custom space for your newsletter sign up and a custom newsletter icon. The home page layout has space for your image or slide show inside a frame with black floral flourishes and space for your welcome message. Below this is the featured products section with a custom center header image. The footer of the template ends simply with some black floral flourishes. Any links that you like can be placed in the footer navigation.

The Organic Boutique is a simple and elegant design perfect for your green products boutique. The background is a rich solid green. The template body is done in a earthy tan gradient. The header logo will be customized with your store name and slogan and features a plain font in white and green and a gren leaf floating above the store name. The Bright Dots Boutique is a hip design featuring a bright color palette in green, orange, pink, and yellow. The main part of the design features curved corners with a orange border. The main background is white dots on a pink background. The header logo image will be customized with your store name and slogan done with hollow capital letters that are filled with the main template colors. Opposite is the search with customized button and links to home, login, shopping cart, and checkout. The bottom of the header logo has a multi colored dot border. The Swirls Boutique is a clean design done in a palette of chocolate and pistachio. The background color is milk chocolate. The customized header logo has space for your store name and slogan on one side and links to home, log in, shoppoing cart, and checkout as well as the search with a customized button on the other side. Also on this side is a horizontal navigation bar with a dark chocolate background color. The left hand navigation background is pistachio and features custom header images and a custom space for your newsletter sign up. The newsletter sign up comes with a custom newsletter icon. The home page layout features space for your image or slideshow and a welcome to your store name image on swirls in shades of pistachio background. This is followed by 4 navigation buttons to new items, sale items, contact us, and latest news, but these can be customized with your text and link destinations. The square buttons alternate shades of chocolate swirls and shades of pistachio swirls. Then there is space for your customized welcome message text. Below this is the featured products section with a custom heading image. The template is completed with a shades of chocolate on chocolate swirls footer which has more navigation links if needed.
