This beautiful, boutique zen cart design features 3 Little Bows Boutique’s signature color palette of aqua and bright green. The design starts with a clean white background with aqua swirls and flowers along with bright green flowers painted on. The background is fixed to stay in the middle of the template for maximum visual impact.

The zen cart header features a custom logo with flowers surrounding the text. The header navigation contains links to home, login, logoff, my account, shopping cart, and checkout. The bottom of the header is a thin line of aqua with bright green swirls.

The left hand zen cart navigation has a light blue solid background with custom sidebox header images, a custom newsletter sign up icon, and custom etsy, facebook, and twitter social media icons.

The zen cart home page design starts with a black and white photo with an aqua hair bow highlight. Under the large image are 4 image links to new items, sale items, latest news, and contact us. The images are done in big flowers with polka dots in aqua and brigh green and change opacity on hover. Under these is the welcome text for the site, and the featured products section which has a custom header image. Finishing off the page is a custom designed banner ad.

The footer of the zen cart design is a slim line of aqua and bright green polka dots.

Beautiful, easy to navigate custom zen cart web design for Dream Catchers Scrapping. I based this boutique design on the scrap kit “Be Unique” by scrapbooking designer Nancy Mulder. Nancy wanted an ecommerce web site that would showcase her scrapbooking kids, embellishments, and papers. The main background is a blue slightly textured paper. The top and bottom of the zen cart template are curved. The header features a cute yellow bird with a swirly tail and a pretty dot line from the kit done in shades of green, yellow, and brown. Header navigation contains links for home, log in, log out, shopping cart, and checkout.

The left hand navigation of this custom zen cart template features custom sidebox header images for shop, search, new items, newsletter signup, and information. Each sidebox header image is slightly different composed of different elements from the scrapbook it. Other zen cart sideboxes used in the left hand navigation are currencies, and who’s online.

The home page of this custom zen cart design features on hover image changes for all of the main images. The main image is set for a featured full scrap kit, with buttons to the right for new items, on sale, news, and about me. Under this is the welcome text and a new items section that features a custom center box heading image.

The custom zen cart template footer section features the same dot line as the header with a pretty green swirly flower. The rest of the footer has a custom Twitter follow me link with the site copyright information.

Zen cart modules installed for added funtionality include, cross sell, newsletter subscribe, column layout grid, database backup, about us page, uri mapping.

Ecigs Unlimited features a heavily customized zen cart. Done in an earthy palette of rich browns to light caramel. The design puts the main navigation as a pull down menu in the header. The home page features an ad for their “Beginner Kit”, space for a welcome message, and a right hand navigation with sections for FAQ’s and Info, Specials, Guarantee & Policies, Refills/Liquid, and News. There are also links to twitter and facebook.

Each Category page was coded with a large main product ad at the top with a mini-menu for sub categories to the the right with a testimonial underneath. Below this all of the products in the category show in two neat columns with product name, a brief description, product image, price, and a link to more info if the product has other options, or add to cart.

The Product info page was heavily modified to a three column layout with product image on the right, product name, price, description, and options in the second column, and add to cart box in the third column. Showing under the product are the cross sell products “Customers who bought this product also purchased…”.

Additional functionality was added to the zen cart with thes modules: cross sell, package tracker, database backup, column layout grid, easy populate, uri mapping, custom group pricing with minimum order amount, dual pricing.

Take a look at this fully customized Zen Cart site I completed for http://www.macabiskirt.com. Macabi Skirt is the premier retailers of travel skirts. I wanted their design to reflect the adventurous spirit of their customers. The design is done in all neutral tones with bold dark blue elements. The main background for the site is a beautiful old map done in subtle earth tone. The top header features a background based on a piece of old paper. The header navigation features links to login and view shopping cart with the number of items and total cost. Once an item is added to the cart the checkout button appears. The main navigation consists of a drop down menu with links to shop, how it works, our story, macabi blog, testimonials, and contact us. There is another navigation along the bottom of the page with links to other information. The footer has neatly placed credit card logos, and ssl security seal, as well as site copyright information.

The main section of the home page design has a background done with an old piece of paper with subtle floral brush decorations. There is the main ad showing how the Macabi skirt can convert from long skirt to pants, to shorts, an add for the Macabi for men skirt, and an ad for the Macabit Convertible Jacket. Under these ads are three navigation buttons for Macabi for Men, In the Field, and In the News. All ads on the home page feature a subtle on hover image change.

All pages in the site were customized including product listing, product info, shopping cart, information pages, etc. Add on modules that I installed for added functionality include links manager, package tracker, database backup, column layout grid, testimonials manager, uri mapping, stock by attributes, split panel login, improved attributes controller, and image handler 2.

The home, log in, shopping cart, and checkout links and the search box and button hover above the top of the header logo. Below the header logo is a solid black horizontal navigation bar that can have any links that you like. Any links that you like can be placed in the footer navigation.
